A Work in Progress (Pt. 1)

 

Don’t have too much time left to blog today, but I wanted to post a couple of “During” Shots…

 

Oh, and I forgot to mention before.  We’ve been calling it “Our Happy House” because that’s what Gabi called it the first time her Daddy asked her if she liked it.

 

Here goes:

 

Floors up in kitchen.  Also all the appliances are going.  Stay tuned for what’s coming in its place.  They get delivered tomorrow!!!

Floors also up in dining room.  New color coming too…

Can see some color samples up.  Oh, and the blinds are getting replaced.

Floors out of the laundry and 1/2 bath too.

Starting on the Living Room wall.  We took down all the “battens” (fancy name for the strips they put in between the drywall in manufactured homes in order to save time in not finishing drywall.), finished the drywall, and painted!  Looks Amazing…

Fixed the floor by the door (had a rotted spot).  Carpet up.  Finishing drywall.

Working on those walls…

Don’t know why, but I love this pic.  It was a late night working on the drywall.  Oh, and at this point I think we were still working by generator because we had to run electric still. (Now, that’s a story!  Now, I wish I’d taken pictures of that day… LOL)
